Abstract

One of the priority directions of improving the system of training in martial arts is the search for the most effective ways of implementing tactical training. In the opinion of many authors, the emphasis should be on expanding the arsenal of actions and improving the physical qualities that allow the most effective performing of technical and tactical actions in the conditions of training and competitive activities. That is why the article deals with the attitude of karate WKF experts to separate implementation provisions of tactical training at various stages of long term improvement of athletes. The urgency of the work is due to the availability of different approaches to tactical training in sports and at the same time the lack of its holistic consideration and proper scientific and methodological substantiation in the legal documents. The purpose of the study was to find out the attitude of karate WKF professionals towards the implementation of tactical training at various stages of long term improvement of athletes. Material and methods. We used the following methods: theoretical analysis, documentary, generalization of literature data and the Internet, expert evaluation and mathematical statistics. Results and discussion. The obtained results of an expert evaluation of the implementation provisions of tactical training at various stages of long term improvement in karate WKF showed different opinions of karate WKF experts when evaluating the following provisions: factors influencing the strategy of preparation for specific competitions (coefficient of concordance was 0.59–0.81); sections of information "Fundamentals of tactics in sports" (0,55–0,79), "Competitive activity" (0,62–0,74), "Theoretical and methodological basis of training of athletes" (0,59–0,67); verbal methods of tactical training (0,59–0,77); visual methods (0,58–0,86); visual means (0,52–0,93); practical methods (0,57–0,75); means and methods of control of tactical fitness of athletes (0,65–0,72). The questionnaires were mostly unanimous. The least agreed opinions of karate experts were in the question of priority directions of tactical training. Conclusion. In scientific–methodical literature and regulatory documents concerning tactical training in martial arts, there is a disproportionate attention of researchers to the various components of tactical fitness of athletes. Advantage is given to the development and experimental testing of tactical training tools and methods in conjunction with techniques. At the same time tactical thinking, tactical knowledge and control of tactical readiness of athletes were covered fragmentarily.
