Abstract

This study deals with investigating biochemical parameters of the human body under gastrointestinal tract diseases. Material and methods. We used spectrophotometric and statistical methods. Patients with obstructive jaundice, chronic pancreatitis and cholecystitis got quantitative and qualitative changes in the blood serum, which were generally normalized after treatment. In-depth comparison of diagnostic indicators of disease, linked to the Alexandria area, allows using the research in the diagnosis and medical practice. Results and discussion. In the course of studies we investigated he diagnostic indices of the human body in such gastrointestinal diseases as mechanical jaundice, cholecystitis and pancreatitis among patients of Alexandria district of Kirovograd region. It was found out that the increase of bilirubin values in patients with mechanical jaundice, pancreatitis and cholecystitis indicated problems with liver in general. It was established, that the increase in the activity of enzymes indicated the functional distractions of not only the liver, but also the pancreas and biliary tract. It was shown that after treatment in patients the values of biochemical parameters of blood approached to the normal level, indicating the restoration of functioning of the hepatobiliary system organs. Conclusions. It was demonstrated, that in order to increase the effectiveness of therapeutic processes and obtain the best results of the correction of these pathologies, a comprehensive approach to the treatment of these diseases is needed. The timely informing of specialists about current trends in treatment approaches is absolutely necessary. This will help reduce morbidity and improve the quality of patient’s life. Further research is planned to continue the study of individual indicators of the hepatobiliary system in patients with mechanical jaundice, cholecystitis and pancreatitis in different regions of the country with the aim of improving and correcting the treatment processes on the approach of therapy to international standards.
