Abstract

To increase the efficiency of the competitive process, there should be a unity of the influence of physical activity and recovery processes on the body. Therefore, the rational and systematic use of rehabilitation tools in the competitive period determines the effectiveness of the entire training system for athletes of various qualifications. The purpose of the work was to give an empirical justification for using rehabilitation tools in combination with music therapy to increase the level of comprehensive preparedness of students involved in football. Material and methods. The study involved 20 students of the National University of Pharmacy, aged 18-21 years, who took part in competitions at various levels during the academic year. A sequential experiment was conducted in the competitive period of athletes from September 2019 to March 2020. In the course of study, we used theoretical analysis and generalization of literary sources. Methods of mathematical statistics were used to process the results of the study. The following exercises were used for testing physical fitness: shuttle run 5x20m, push-ups 30 s, raising the torso to a sitting position for 30 s, running 100 m). Testing of functional capabilities was performed with the help of Rufer test, and Gencha test. Testing technical readiness was conducted when dribbling a soccer ball on an assignment, hitting the ball on goal for accuracy, keeping a soccer ball on the foot, and juggling the ball. To determine the psychophysiological state of the athletes of the experiment, psychophysiological indicators were recorded using the “Psychodiagnostics” computer program (the speed of a simple and complex reaction in various testing modes). Results and discussion. For the recovery of athletes, we developed the following rehabilitation tools in combination with music therapy: therapeutic recovery exercises; static (isometric) exercises for the prevention of damage to the limb (joint) and related muscles; cryotherapy; special exercises using unstable platforms. Conclusion. The obtained results showed a significant increase in the indicators of testing the physical, functional and technical preparedness of football players (p <0.05) as a result of the rational use of rehabilitation tools and physical activity in the competitive period of football players.
